My Close Captioning

I have a TV in my cubicle, which is cool, but I generally have to keep it tuned to the news (which is uncool). Anyway, it's a pretty old television and either I can't figure out how to turn off close captioning or it simply does it by default when the thing is on mute. Also, it's always on mute because if I had to hear "We've got some breaking news" 400 times a day I would go insane.

So I'm stuck with subtitles, and in an effort to turn those off I've switched them to Spanish ones. I like to think I'm becoming bilingual while ignoring the news.
