
When you truly look at Neil Diamond's "I Am, I Said" it is oddly poetic. Consider:
I am, I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all
Not even the chair.
That's old school emotional depth from a guy who is often mimicked as a cheesy crooner (not by me though, I love him).
So I ask, if Neil Diamond must now be considered an artist at large who else have I overlooked? Wayne Newton maybe?
